What do the following have in common with Dublin Castle, The Vatican, The White House and Notre Dame university?

The Screaming Orphans are from County Donegal, Ireland.

Dublin Castle, The Vatican, The White house and the University of Notre Dame all have floors covered with Donegal carpets.

Catch the Screaming Orphans playing at the Cleveland Irish Festival this summer July 24th -26th. See O'Caseys Irish Store there too and check out our fine range of Irish jewelry.

Marilyn Monroe and Greta Garbo both have an Irish connection. Is it?

I'm not sure whether either had any Irish parents, but both Marilyn Monroe and Greta Garbo both stayed at Glenveagh Castle, Co Donegal. At the time it was owned by James Henry McIlhenny of Philadelphia. In 1981 the castle and grounds were left to  the nation by the McIlhennies.

What was the Irish Examiner previously called?

The Cork Examiner. The paper was founded by John Francis Maguire under the title the Cork Examiner in 1841 in support of the Catholic emancipation and tenant rights work of Daniel O'Connell. Though originally appearing under the Cork Examiner title, it has re-branded in recent years to The Examiner, and subsequently the Irish Examiner.

What does the circle in the centre of the celtic cross represent?

The Sun.

In which museum is the Tara Brooch?

National History Museum, Dublin. The National Museum of Ireland is split up into 4 parts, 3 of which are in Dublin. The museum on Kildare Street is the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology and History, where the Tara Brooch is along with the Ardagh Chalice. Opened in 1890, the museum contains artefacts dating from 7000 BC all the way up to the modern day. The museum is easily found on Kildare Street, which is located near to Grafton Street and Saint Stephens Green.
