Small Green Enamel Shamrock earrings.

The shamrock, every school child in Ireland is familiar with the story of the Shamrock from day one. How St Patrick in 400AD returned to Ireland to preach christianity after having spent years there as a slave. Using the widely grown shamrock with it's three leaves as a symbol to teach about the Holy Trinity. Much of Ireland converted to Christianity during St Patrick's lifetime and to this day the shamrock is universally associated with Ireland.
